Vintage flatbills in canvas or wool, both unstructured, plus a few cotton dad hats. Thirty-five cities so far, every one cut and stitched in our Kansas City shop.
Canvas or wool?
Both are unstructured โ no buckram, no stiffener, so the crown takes its shape from your head instead of fighting it. The difference is body. Canvas has a little more: it stands slightly taller out of the box and settles in over a few weeks. Wool is softer from the first wear and sits lower on the crown, with the texture and depth of color you only get out of wool.
The flat brim comes flat. Leave it, or bend it โ it holds wherever you put it. Sweatbands soften after a couple of wears either way.

Which cities do you make?

Why is there no logo or mascot on these?
Because the name is the point. These aren't licensed team hats. Just the city set clean in block letters, in colors people from there recognize on sight.
Canvas or wool โ which should I get?
Both are unstructured, so neither one fights your head. Canvas has a bit more body and stands slightly taller; wool is softer from the first wear and sits lower. It's mostly feel and color, not fit.
Do these run adjustable or fitted?
Adjustable. Every hat we make is, so one size covers most heads without ordering by measurement.
Where are they made?
Cut, stitched, and inspected in our Kansas City shop off Southwest Boulevard. In-house from cut to ship โ no imported blanks, no offshore finishing.
